This manual acts as a building block of practical and technical skills needed to prepare the new individual for his or her position. That’s why every Freshway location has an Operations Manual. That way every deli worker has a reference available for their deli tasks. it teaches them the proper portioning, and how to follow instructions. If all workers follow the book, then you have consistency in the food product served – that benefits the customer always knowing what they’ll get, and the manager always knowing what margin they are making on each sub.
